Optical Disc Technology Ltd has ceased trading. The company was established in July 2005 by Miguel Xavier and Graham Sharpless to provide consultancy services to the optical disc industry. During the last three years the company has carried out a number of projects including work on Blu-ray patents for a major Hollywood studio; writing a report on Blu-ray and HD DVD (published by Screen Digest); assisting the DVD Format Licensing Corporation to register the HD DVD logo in the UK and assisting replicators with DVD patents.
But one of the directors, Miguel Xavier, has now moved on to a different career and Graham is also carrying out other work, in particular website design. Graham is however still available for consultancy in a free-lance capacity. This website, www.opticaldisctech.com, will soon be closed and the domain name will be available for anyone interested in using it.
